This page explains what information Paula’s Wigs & Bling collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and your rights. It also sets out the basic terms of using the site.
Who we are

What we collect and why
- Orders. Your name, address, email, phone number and what you bought, so we can take payment, deliver your order and deal with any returns. We keep order records for as long as the law requires for accounts and tax (normally six years).
- Your account. If you create an account, your login details and saved addresses, so you don’t have to type them again.
- Messages. When you use our contact form we keep your name, email, phone number and message so we can reply. We delete enquiries we no longer need.
- Website use. Anonymous information about how the site is used (pages visited, rough location, device type), so we can see what’s working and improve it.
We use this information because we need it to fulfil your order or answer your enquiry, because the law requires it, or because it is in our legitimate interest to run and improve our shop. We never sell your information.
Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run the shop, each of which looks after your information under its own privacy policy:
- Payments: Stripe, WooPayments and PayPal process card and PayPal payments. We never see or store your full card details.
- Email: Brevo sends our website emails, such as order confirmations and replies to enquiries.
- Analytics: Google Analytics tells us how the site is used.
- Delivery: the courier or postal service that delivers your order receives your name and address.
- Hosting and security: our hosting provider and Cloudflare, which keep the site running and protect it from attacks.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them to keep items in your basket, keep you signed in, remember your chosen currency, keep the site secure, and (through Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the basket and checkout won’t work without them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Using this website
- We try to keep product details, prices and availability accurate, but mistakes can happen. If we find an error in an order, we’ll contact you before going ahead.
- An order is confirmed when we email you to say it has been accepted.
- Delivery and returns are covered on our Shipping and Returns pages.
- The photos, designs and text on this site belong to Paula’s Wigs & Bling and may not be copied without permission.
- These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
